Once you start crafting the Emerald or Topaz Sparrow in goal 11, the main goals complete and the following 2 goals are triggered. The goal A Spare Sparrow allows you to purchase the other sparrow and the hatchling. eg, if you craft the Emerald Sparrow, the Topaz Sparrow and Hatchling goals will be in your book and vice versa. To buy, press the gem skip button as you cannot craft them after you have chosen.

You can begin this goal once you collect the sparrow you crafted in goal 11 from the Sparrow Stable.

‘Choose a sparrow’ in goal 11 uses the amulet crafted in goal 10 (4h, uses 5 lumin essences) to craft the sparrow you choose (sparrow stable craft). This takes 1h.

The pop up goal ‘a spare sparrow’ with either Topaz/Emerald sparrow and hatchling, shows up after you choose, for you to use gems to buy the ones you did not choose; sparrow is 400 gems and hatchling is 150 gems. To buy, press skip for these goals as you cannot craft them after you have chosen.

‘Search the sparrow stable’ is an adventure that pops up in the stable. I don’t think it is part of goal 11, it shows up after collecting the sparrow craft in goal 11. If memory serves, it requires 5 enchanted essences and quite a lot of jewels (50?) and creep tooth (30?). 1h adventure and upon completion, you get the hatchling.

Make sure you have at least 6+h after upgrading sparrow dome to level 6 in goal 9, to finish last few steps.

I tried a random tree, it did drop a stirrup but not the leaf that dead trees do.

Also, a new monster from dead trees and cows. However, my 9 dead trees did not spawn the monster. 7 were after spawning the monster from cows.

I only got 1 slippery fish from 7 ponds. I just put out more so hopefully that will help. I tried the mermaid, princess Lorelei’s fountain, faerie tribute, and butterfly pond but didn’t get any from any of those.

Gather stringy moss (clear dead tree)

Side Quest:
Clear dead trees for grubs
Defeat new monster
Do adventure in Sparrow Stable

I get grubs from the trees. Found the Ambertooth in the cows!
You need to be on Step 3 (after crafting the Sparrow Feed) to get the Goldentooth monster from the dead trees.
