I think its been about a year (maybe 10 months) since I've received either a wing or a horn for the Alicorn from adventures. I do an adventure every day but never get these parts anymore.

They both still drop from the adventures they're programmed for (see Adventure Guide in the Hub for more details). But the drop rate and timing sounds about right - they are really rare, so not a bug if you haven't received anything for that long. Might be worth checking in the LS and go to the alicorn craft to confirm in case you have a drop you haven't seen. I have 3 castles and adventure non-stop too.
