    Dragon Tales Event
    The Dragon Tales Event is a fun way of earning new Dragons for your Island, while also learning more about the lore of your Island!

    When the Dragon Tales Event starts you will notice the Dragon Tales Archive Building on your Island. Tap on it to start your Dragon Tales Event!

    1. Complete ALL Chapters of the Dragon Tales earn beautiful new Dragons and Decorations!
    2. A new Chapter will unlock each day of the Event and includes multiple tasks to complete. Carefully read the tasks and complete them to earn the rewards.
    3. Tip! Some rewards give you Parts or gameplay elements that may be required for Crafts in future Chapters.
    4. Complete all Chapters to receive the Grand Prize

    Leaderboard Events

    Leaderboard events will ask players to compete with their friends and other community members in a friendly and fun competition! During a limited-time leaderboard event, players will vie for incredible prizes by completing various tasks to earn leaderboard points. Don't worry about competing against players with a higher level than you! We'll pair you with community players who are similar to you so there?s no need to be intimidated! Remember, smaller ranked groups of players of similar level ranges means more winners and more prizes!

    How you earn points can change from event to event. One event may require you to breed and hatch dragons to earn points while another may have you harvesting crops from your farms and feeding your dragons. Make sure to check the Info during the event to learn the specific details!

    In order to earn more points during the short event period, you may acquire Boosts to tip the scales in your favor! Boosts will multiply the number of event points you earn for a limited amount of time. At the end of the event, the leaderboard rankings will dictate which players are the victors and which rare and exclusive prizes they will earn.

    Prizes! There are different ways to earn prizes during leaderboard events. We've discussed prizes at the end of an event from your ranking but you'll also hit milestone amounts of points and earn useful items during the event. For example, you may earn a bundle of food when you've earned 100 points and another great prize at 500 points. The final milestone prize will always be worth working for. Perhaps it will be a dragon! In order to earn a prize you have to collect at least 10 points, so players with fewer points won't get a prize!

    A wondrous wheel of prizes will frequently appear for players to aid in your progress and boost your rank! You may get bundles of additional leaderboard points, gold, coins, food, and much more! Check back often to spin the wheel and continue to climb the leaderboards to the top!

    Global Leaders! Now you can compete against the best in the new Global Leaderboard! To be eligible for the global rankings, you must first obtain 1,000 Leaderboard Points.

    You can get dragons, decorations, coins, food, and even gold! Check the event thread to see what prizes you can get.

    Why Can't I Place a Dragon in a Habitat?
    There can be two reasons a dragon can't be placed in a habitat. First, the habitat already has as many dragons as it can hold. In this case, you'll either want to build a new habitat, or upgrade it if you can.

    The second reason is that the habitat is not an appropriate color for your dragon. Dragons can only live in a habitat than share a color with it. For example, a Forest Dragon is green and therefore needs a Green Grove habitat. A Life Dragon is red and green, and could live in a Red Rocks or a Green Grove habitat.

    You can check the colors of a habitat by tapping its Info button or by looking in the market. Look at the colored gem symbols under the habitat image. To check the colors of a dragon, you can tap the habitat it is in, and tap its button, or look in the market, and again look for the colored gems.

    How Can I get a Specific Dragon from the Breeding Den?
    Creating new dragon eggs is a magical process and it can't be controlled perfectly. It's best to try different combinations of dragons, and trying each one more than once. The same combinations can often produce more than one new egg, with some being rare than others. The colors of the dragons put into the Breeding Den can be passed on to the new egg. When you have hybrid dragons (ones with 2 colors), try putting them into the Breeding Den. You might get a special or rare outcome!
    If you want to get a specific dragon, you can always visit the Market and buy the egg you want!

    How Can I Get More Gold?
    You can get more Gold by tapping the Add button (a '+' symbol) next to the Gold icon at the top of the screen. Once you tap this Add button, you will be able to select from several Gold offers available for purchase.

    You can also get Gold from your friends as a gift! See "SOCIAL FEATURES" for information about how to add friends and receive gifts. Send your friends Gold and they will return the favor.

    How Do I Increase my Level?
    To increase you're level, you have to earn experience points. There are a number of ways you can do this.
    - Hatching dragon eggs.
    - Building a new habitat, building, or decoration.
    - Clear foliage on your island.
    - Harvesting a crop from your farms.
    - Completing goals.

    How Do I Move Items?
    Items can be moved by tapping the item and then tapping the Move icon from the menu. You can drag the item to a new position and tap the green check mark when its in an eligible place that you're happy with.

    To move a dragon from one habitat to another appropriate one, tap the first habitat, then the button for the dragon you'd like to move. You'll see a Move Habitat button in the bottom right corner of the screen. Tap that, then tap the new destination habitat!

    How Do I Sell Items?
    If you would like to sell an item, tap it and then tap the Move icon from the menu. While in this mode, there will be a Sell button in the bottom right. Be careful before you decide to sell anything though, you may have to work hard to get it again, and some rewards you won't be able to win a second time.

    To sell a dragon, select the habitat it is in, then select the dragon's button. You'll see a Sell button in the bottom right.

    Please note that a habitat with dragons can't be sold until all the dragons in it are sold first.

    Basic Troubleshooting

    Here are a few tips you can try if you are having in-game issues before creating a bug thread or contacting support. If all fail, feel free to create a thread. (Please try to make sure someone else has not already opened a thread on the topic already)

    - Force closing out of the game and reopening it
    - Closing out background apps
    - Creating storage if you have none available.
    - Restarting your device
    - Reinstalling the game or clearing cache if on Andriod. (This will only fix graphical issues, like for example an egg appearing as a black square)

    Common Issues

    Did not receive a prize from an event or goal

    There is a way to restrict In-App Purchases on your device. On your device, please go to Settings Menu -> General -> Restrictions option. You can then simply turn off In-App Purchases under "Allowed Content".

    If you are experiencing a bug in the game, you can report it in the Dragon Story | Bugs & Issues forum or create a support ticket.

    Before creating a thread, make sure to check if there is already a pre-existing thread on the issue. Make sure to report the bug including the following info:

    1) Your Storm8 ID
    2) Your device type (iPod touch Gen 3, iPhone 4S, iPad 2, etc.)
    3) Your device OS (iOS 4.1.2, iOS 4.3.3, etc.)
    4) Step-by-step of what happened before the bug occurred
    5) Screenshots, if possible
