The timer for part 2 is showing about 28 days. I'm pumping the brakes on this, slowing things down and let Ivy and my Toxic Spirit do their job for a while, and make compasses when I have good supply of Enchanted Essence.
I'm finding it pretty easy to keep my toxic woods built up with the willows.

Aloha! Newly active here in the forum, but I?ve been referring to everyone?s helpful tips offline for months now, so thank you!

Question: Does the 30-day countdown for Part 2 start differently for everyone, or is it universal? Meaning, if I hold off on finishing Part 1, will that take days off of the 30 days?

Thank you Sunnygirl634. With the splash screen saying the new event begins 10/1/20, (usually at 11:00am Central) I was thinking tonight we would have Weekday warrior. And you're right about the time zone making a difference. We have people from all over the world playing.

. That means I can gather from Ivy for the Elemental event at least today.

And welcome mgrnc! I don't have an answer for you as I'm not that far along but someone will!

The 30-day countdown starts when you start Part II. Welcome to the Forum!

Edit: I am wondering if finishing Part I automatically started Part II. Perhaps I would prefer to hold off fighting the Water Spirit to the end so Part III doesn't start. However, this is impossible because we will need to fight monsters in the new event. I will let you know later today.

Everybody gets 30 days for Part 2 when they hit the start Part 2.
But a lot of players are holding off on completing The Tea Celebration
(Goal 9 of Part 1) so as to replenish resources or keep collecting to stock up on Ivy Potion or keep craft open for making wind chimes. That craft goes away when you complete Part 1.
Keep reading Spirit Winds post on page one for tips and ideas of what you want your strategy to be. Some really good time saving tips there.

"The Ancient Owl is rewarded as soon as you begin the Windy Tea Celebration craft. The timer is 3 hours and does not drop story related items"

I copied and pasted this tip. I learned I could get the timed prize without having to complete Part 1. And then I kept Part 1 open by not collecting the Windy Tea Celebration.
Just one of many helpful tips.
