Fellow Caretakers, if you don't have the following dragons (other than Glasswing) then get up the essence to get them. They are good in battle:

Neo Tinsel (rare - 400 essence) - Good for any champion that has a blue or red element in it (Croconile, Amazon, Defender, Honor, Huntress)
Lolipop (super rare - 800 essence) - Good for most opponents
Black Jackal (ultra rare - 1600 essence) - Good for most opponents and champs (Tribal, Croconile, Daywing, Defender)
Croconile (super rare - 800 essence) - Good for champs with red, yellow and green in them.

Thanks Mostreal for keeping up the tourney threads. I hope more people post in the tournaments but I totally understand people getting turned off by the tournaments and the progress (or lack thereof) of Dragon Story. The creativity and passion of this game has been tragically lost since 2016.

Thanks Skyharbor602 and I agree that those are great suggestions. I was very busy yesterday and the day before so I wasn't recording my battles and likely won't this weekend as I will be even busier AND in an area with poor internet.

Croconile, Neo Tinsel, Mithril, Glasswing, Diamond, Achilles are all my top fighters, especially for the champion types.

I don't have Lollipop so I'm going to have to look him up. My Black Jackal is at level 10 and that's a lot of scrolling so I don't use him as much as I probably should.

I cannot beat Guardian 19 (Round 26)! Since yesterday I must have battled him two dozen times I've tried the usual suspects (Achilles, Diamond, Passion, Soccer, etc.) over and over again....any out of the box suggestions?

What about Dark Dragon? I got him with my Passion. Lately, my Passion has been taking down most champs. I find whatever dragon I keep going to finally works. What about throwing baby fire dragons at him in between the ADIPPS? Maybe Valiant if you have one. Sometimes mine works when I use it against a champ out of frustration.

You gotta get Dark Dragon to level 15, trust me. My Dark Dragon eats up champions for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's never listed in dragons to use when fighting any one of them. In the year that I had mine at level 15 it only lost twice but beat the champs in a rematch.
