I think everyone?s math is a little off ...
The Desert Tombs have a 4hr timer - or 6 collections a day.
(5 collections if you allow for 8hrs sleep)
A Desert Tomb usually drops 2 Hieroglyphics and 1 Sphinx Tribute.
And we have two of those.
So that?s 5 collections x 2 Hieroglyphics x 2 Desert Tombs x 4 Days =
80 Hieroglyphics!
(96 Hieroglyphics if you?re a zombie without sleep haha)
We only need 60.

Agreed it?s tight - but doable.

Those lucky enough to have a mystical third (or fourth!) Desert Tomb drop from the adventure will be cruising.
I?ve only sent out the quest required adventures so far (so 9) and had nothing but cactus.

Otherwise an easy event, I?ve already collected and crafted everything except the Hieroglyphics.
Great animation design that goes with the Desert Palace from years ago.
Cleo is great.

The drops really are crazy. I feel for those of you in the "extremely unlucky" group, I hate it when that happens!

I completed my community visits, returned to my kingdom, and found the look at changed. I'm seeing trees, bushes, etc all around my kingdom that hadn't been there. It sort of looks like plots of land that haven't been expanded yet.

I'll try closing the game, but was wondering if anyone else had seen this.

I took a picture using the photo option in menu and saved it to my photos, but when I try to insert or attach it, it doesn't look like it worked.

I got the "filled in open spaces" also.

And FWIW, I force close every app on my device overnight, as well as closing when done using the app for awhle. I don't have a lot of problems with any of my apps. I also disable the WiFi overnight, but that's another story

If you keep your game "open" constantly, especially at the beginning of an event, I wonder if/how much it affects your game since software tweaks are occurring.

upgrade numbers are a little off. level 8 equired 15 heiroglyphics. level 9 requires 2 amulets
this is higher level

I think they're referring to the phenomenon where plots you've previously expanded to suddenly looked "filled in" with shrubs/trees (usually after visiting a few smaller kingdoms).
The items you've placed in that opened plot are still there, so you'd be able to see the tips of buildings for example, but layered around/over them changes to seem like an unexpanded plot with pine trees etc all filled in.

I really want to finish this, but I have had no adventure drops, and I don't think I have ever received 4 hieroglyphics from two tombs, although several times I have received just one each. You could do one fewer collection on the first day, since you had to wait four hours after you got it, and you need to collect the ones on the last day six hours before the end to make the Translation.

I have consistently gotten 3 hieroglyphics every 4 hours. That means I have 8 more hours until I can make my first amulet. Then I will need 3 more collections (12 hours minimum to start to make the next one, if I wake up at 1:30 am and 5:30 am). I won't have the 10 needed for Chapter 10 until I only have 3 hours left in the final chapter.

And ONLY IF I WAKE UP TWICE IN THE NIGHT. There is no way for me to finish.
