Now that i got Seraphina the Sphinx., Sphinx no longer appear from farmhouses.. is this normal? Anybody else experiencing this?

No, I have Seraphina and Shinxes still spawn (not right now, because I've closed the chapter, but they did before that)
It shouldn't have anything to do with each other.
Did you close your chapter 5? If so, than it's normal. Spawns will resume after Chapter 6 begins.
If you didn't close your chapter I have no idea what could be the problem. You don't have another monster somewhere on your board?

Is anyone else a bit itchy in the eyes, everytime you read "Pharoah" and "heirogylphics" instead of Pharaoh and hieroglyphics?
It doesn't take anything from the event, which I am enjoying a lot, and I love the graphics. It's just... how fast was the person programming this trying to type?? :-D

I am trying to buy another tavern but the game says I am at my limit. I am at level 50 and only have 1 tavern, how do I buy another?

Something is weird with my neighbor requests. I have a LOT of neighbors that I've accumulated over the years. Usually, requests take no time at all. However, my goal stopped at 10/15 a couple hours after sending out requests and hasn't gone up at all since.

Why do you think this is? Have a lot of my neighbors dropped off and only 10 are left? That's possible but then those 10 ALL respond within 2-3 hours and then not a single other player replies for the rest of the day/night? I'd expect someone in a different time zone or who doesn't check in as often to reply to the requests with a greater delay. Plus, 10 is such a clean number, it has me concerned.

Thoughts about what could be going wrong? Am I doing something wrong?

The Tavern is a Town Building. You can only have so many Town Building (I don't know how many exactly, sorry)
Look in the store under 'town' to see which building classify as Town Buildings.
If you sell another Town Building (a Farmhouse for example) you should be able to buy a new Tavern.
(there are some exceptions to this, when you have event Buildings that are Town Buildings but can't be sold.. I don't know the exact in's and out's, I'm sorry)

You can only receive a limited amount of items from requests per day. Did you ask your neighbors for another item earlier in the day?

That's odd indeed.. I've no idea what could be the problem.
Have you tried force-closing and sending out new requests?
I can't think of anything except maybe add some new neighbors from the forum who you know are active, and sent them requests.
My requests came back pretty quickly, but I do have an absurd amount of Neighbors.. I accept each new Neighbor and never remove anyone.

Chapter 6, Goal 1 is to visit Old Thomas's House.
I did so and the goal didn't complete.. but while I was writing my previous comment it did complete... so if you're having the same problem, don't panic and give it a couple of minutes to catch up.

Thank you so much Ronja!!! I was selling towers and sold a marketplace and those didn?t work but after selling 2 farmhouses I was able to get it! Yay!
