Oh wow! That's a decent coin drop! I'll track mine for the next week before I send the details over to the Inventory Guide. Thanks for posting your results. I'd be interested in what others get too...
I've had anywhere from 2,100 (might have seen as low as 1,400 but not sure) to 10,500 coins drop since the event officially ended. Seems to be quite a range!

When the Golden item dropped it still dropped coins, of course. 😊

4,100 is most common for me too.

Could these more than generous drops and timer be to compensate for the last 2 upgraded Buildings/Items?
I'm getting 4100 most of the time(1 Golden Nugget drop so far). Hope timer or drops don't change!
Cleo is also a very generous dropper, have gotten 2 Wisp Lanterns (in 1 collection) from her multiple times.
Thanks for asking about the Oasis Tree SpiritWind, it was such a bummer to collect from.. Deco only or well drops are both fine by me.
Still hoping for some feedback from S8 about the Adventure drops.

Have the people who say they only got cacti from the adventure checked their storage? I did quite a lot of adventures and got all the items but I noticed that while collecting the cactus from the box that appears above the building the other items flew into storage very quickly so possibly that could have been missed.
Would it be possible to make the Sphinx Tribute a usable decoration. I got a few tombs from the adventures and collected a number of the Tributes from them. It seems a shame to have to leave them gathering dust in storage.
Now the event has finished the tombs only seem to be giving one blue star so they are a waste of space. Perhaps they should be giving bones.
It has been mentioned multiple times here to check your storage. Some people indeed found stuff, but most not.
Most definitely not for me - I sent out so many adventures (stopped counting at 50) but got zero returns other than those dang cacti. A first for me and my many years playing CS... I suppose it's nice to know that even after all this time the game can still surprise me, lol.
