I hate censorship of this sort. I still don't *get* that rule. sharing information about common isseus should absolutely be allowed, and, dare I say, even encouraged.

Copying and pasting canned responses from support emails is not a common rule and most posters unfamiliar with the forum would ever guess they were in violation of the rules. If they knew it most would not post it.

When someone does post a Support reply, it seems like there are some people who focus on the violation and not on the issue raised by the OP. Forum members should be focusing on helping other forum members, not on tattling on them for uncommon offenses.

It is kind of a silly rule, but it's not like it's not posted all over the place.
