I collected from 16 cows and spawned 5 red tigers! I have chopped over 70 trees and have seen 1 leopard. What?s up?

I thought I had a dire spawn rate for leopards (2 from 20 trees) but that seems to be quite good compared to others!

I can't get a fangbeasts from cows (probably because I need them for the academy goals)...

Leopards come and go that's for sure. I just chopped 30 dead trees (56 vines) and got none. I only need 5 more though.
