this is fun. i had planted some crops. had to get rid of them. you have to plant tomatoes

I got orange wisps from white birch, oak, and another tree I forgot.

This looks like it's going to be fun!

The orange wisps drop from aspen trees, too, so you can keep working on the Academy storyline.

They do not drop from fruit trees, at least not the five orange trees I tried. Back to planting crab apples! : )

The wisps you need from tending chickens, you can also get from the swans. Out of 24 chickens and 12 swans, I only got four wisps. Low rate of return.

but step 4 you have to go to the forge. but you need two of the red wisps from ivy. so now i am stuck for another 12 hours.

Oh shoot, I apparently tapped Ivy an hour and a half ago. Now I'll have to wait until tomorrow morning to even really get started on this event. 🤦*♀️
