Can?t get any monsters

Im trying to get fangbeasts and used a fang beast trap. Nothing happened and now I can?t get any monsters at al. How can I fix this? There are no shadowed areas to say a monster is there. I?ve force closed the app already. Now Im not going to be able to do anything in this event. Thanks for any help

Hi, welcome to the forum! Traps always work. You must have a beastie hiding somewhere. Most likely it's on the fringe of your board as they can be the hardest to see. If you turn on your game music, that's the best way to check as it's a trumpeting type music whereas when it's clear is sweet flute type music.
