12/05 Update: Baron's Tent Prizes (Dec 2019) | The Snowball Challenge (65 days)

This is the pop up I get to watch a video when I'm out of snowballs, by my math, we should be getting four cabbages per video, right? (2 snowballs=4 cabbages)

I’ve been doing this and my cabbages are accumulating extremely quickly. However, I usually get around 3 gems from those daily vids and I have won 3 alis in the last 3 months. Not to mention the other prizes like (gem) animals, fruit trees, etc.

So this is really messing with my head. Do I watch the regular videos and risk getting nothing too exciting ... gambling is just not in my personality so I?ve been going with the practical option of guaranteed cabbages. Am I doing the right thing? The opportunity costs of both options are steep.

Yeah, both the male and female Snowpeople drop the Christmas Paths along with other Christmas decos but the Snowman Baron is just a deco.

No, the s8 team confirmed that we only get 2 Rotten Cabbages per video.

The video pop up is very misleading and I think this is where a lot of people's confusion is coming from. It would be nice if they could change that at some point in the next two months, lol.

I do the same thing...except I'm not making snowballs I watch videos for cabbages and then move on about my day without looking at the first page of this thread. It's wonderful not knowing what I'm missing :-D
Every now and then, like today, I watch for random prizes. Today I won about 4000 coins and a gem from the videos.
I'm afraid I'll get stuck with snowballs at the end with no way of converting them back to cabbages.

My single Baron Puppet has never dropped a cabbage to my knowledge.....I guess the code was written so some of them drop & some dont. I collect from it for the coins, that still is decent.

Oh...is that wha it's supposed to drop ? Haha. I knew I had to keep him out on my board just in case he dropped something but couldn't remember what he dropped and kept forgetting to check. I only get coins too.

I am disappointed that the timer is 6 hours. Why cant we convert cabbages in a day if the prize is something we want? Some months I dont even see the prize I want (like alis the last time they were offered). So I am supposed to make cabbages in the hope that I get a good prize? Will be able to back-convert snoballs, or just lose out if no desired prize shows? Not my idea of fun.

Do I watch the regular videos and risk getting nothing too exciting, other than the approx 150 gems (which is a fairly good lure in and of itself) OR do I accumulate a mountain of cabbages (7 months worth, borrowing math from a previous post) with the guarantee of future tent prizes while also knowing that they will calibrate the quality of the tent prizes in the face of everyone?s accumulation (ie less impressive prizes)?

Gambling is just not in my personality so I?ve been going with the practical option of guaranteed cabbages. Am I doing the right thing? The opportunity costs of both options are steep.

Wish I had even one Ali from the videos. I?ve been watching them everyday and all I get is a gem coins and the odd wooden beam or stone block which I?m maxed on 😭😭 can I have some of your luck please.
Considering how many gems I spent on the shadow baron and not had one cabbage all this time is down right depressing too 😩
