Marble Shores Habitat Capacity?

Just wondering how to collect marble keys when you have 2 dragons in the Marble Shores habitat?
The max marble key capacity is 3. So if each dragon produces 3 marbles per day (1 every 8 hours), can you collect 3 every 12 hours? Or do you have to collect 2 every 8 hours to avoid forfeiting marble keys?

You can wait and collect 3 after 12 hours.

If by some chance you had 2 dragons in the habitat with one giving 2 keys and the other 3 keys, divide 5 into 24 hours...that's 4.8 hours, so one key would be ready in 4 hours 48 minutes or 3 keys in 14 hours 24 minutes.

I have one habitat with 2 dragons in it and I collect every 12 hours + 1 minute. You have to account for seconds when timing your collections. For example: if you collect at 11:00:05 AM (hour/minute/second) you have to make sure you collect at 11:00:06 PM the earliest. It can be very frustrating
