Here's my progress so far - so far 47 losses. From a great start from Glasswing and Diamond, things are now going downhill . . . Have recently got Passion from the Codex, it has not won a match yet :-(

There are no pure “Egypt” type dragons, so it isn’t necessary to purchase the “buy-with-gold” Egypt-type habitats

Note: Croconile has a high chance against Odyssey and The Dark One. If you have Croconile then you will definitely find it a good fighter. Those who got Black Jackal in the leaderboard, it's actually slightly weaker in battle than Croconile and more expensive to raise to level 15. If you have both, I would suggest raising Croconile high and leaving Black Jackal at between level 9 and level 12 unless you have over 10 million food.

Gildclaw(Royal.Yellow, Common) has a 3-0 advantage. Gildclaw is one of the required Common in a previous event.

Topaz(Gemstone. Yellow) also has 3-0 advantage.

I've always used Dark and Diamond, both level 15 against all the Champs and Champs hybrid. It had worked quite well for me so far in the tournaments. Hope that helps.

Thanks for your posts guys! Hoping to feed some newly acquired dragons next event. I'm still debating over Dark. He is at 12 now and I win with him against Arctic types but others are a mixed bag. If the success rate improves at a higher level maybe that's what I need to do?
