    Low level

I?m at goal 8/9. I don?t have the noodle house. Also, the peppers needed for the ramen aren?t available to me yet. Should I just give up, or is there a low-level goal difference?

    Differences I found

    Goal 8
That Miso you made would make an excellent addition to our Ramen!
Make 1 Miso Ramen in the Noodle House
    Give 4 Miso Ramen
LOWER LEVELS give 2 Miso Ramen
REWARDS: 200 coins, prize, 3 experience points

You need to buy the Noodle House

    Goal 9
So many cool Soy products, we've got to bundle them up and share them with the world!
Make 1 Soy Goods in the Farmer's Outpost
    Give 3 Soy Goods
LOWER LEVELS give 2 Soy Goods
REWARDS: 1000 coins, Aquaponic, 10 experience points

Soy Goods and Miso Ramen can not be bought or sold.
    What level is your farm?
I think Red peppers are available at Level 19

    Welcome to the forum.

To further add on to what Judy said...

Nope, you shouldn't give up. You have 12 more days for this quest. The Aquaponics prize will give you additional drops which will be very handy. Noodle house and Extractor are available from level 14 and red peppers is from level 19. These items should be open to you. Buy the Noodle house and grow your red peppers or you can buy red peppers from the newspapers. This is doable. Keep going.

Am I missing something? Is there any other source for “parts” for this event besides the two white trellises and the very infrequent newspaper offers?

No, at this time you are not missing anything. The Homegrown Hydroponics are the only source for Soybeans and Soymilk.

This is an unusual question, but can the icon for the Soymilk be changed? It looks so much like the icon for the Almond Milk that it is very easy to mix up. Maybe flip the Soymilk bottle so it is angled in the opposite direction?
