What I have gathered, then is, that to "Journey into the Dungeon," what we need are:
1) 8 Dragonstones, 2 Travel Potions, 3 Magic Gems
2) 10 Dragonstones, 3 Travel Potions, 5 Magic Gems, 1 Shadowbane Sword
3) 14 Dragonstones, 4 Travel Potions, 6 Magic Gems, 1 Shadowbane Sword + Shield (requires 1 Shadowbane Sword + other items which are listed in post #243 by wishtheywerereal)
4) ?? Dragonstones, ? Travel Potions, ? Magic Gems, 1 Shadowbane Armor (requires 1 Shadowbane Sword + Shield + other items)

We will know the numbers of Dragonstones, Travel Potions and Magic Gems for the last adventure when someone posts Goal 17.

You will fight the shadow baron 4 times. Leading up to this requires a sword, 1-3 other items and the dice rolls for each of the three players. Each time you will need more of the dice rolls than the previous time.

FOUR times!?! I thought only 3 because that?s how many we need to make the Faerie reward. I sure hope that?s a typo. I had at least two collections in a row with zero enchanted chalice. Didn?t know we could buy a second so many thanks for posting this. I bought the second one and got the chalice so now I have a total of two. The only chalice I got from the first was the first tap. I also am having difficulty even spawning a shadow beast much less getting the fang. It?s pretty pitiful having a 4 hour timer and no drops and taking so many farmhouses. More and more it seems S8 wants us to finally have enough.

Wishtheywerereal - thanks for setting me straight. I knew we used farmhouse previously to battle a monster for a needed item and got mixed up as to which monster. I almost prefer the farmhouses instead of collecting from crops. Thank you.

Perfect. In that case:

The total number of dice, then is 44*12 for the dragon stones + 15*6 for the travel potions + 22*8 for the magic gems = 794.

The armor requires the sword+shield (sword + 4 enchanted chalise + 8 shadow fangs) + 3 spells of light

You do NOT receive a reward the third time you fight the shadow baron. You will need to become stronger. Each time you need to craft all the items from the previous steps plus one new item. First time, shadowbane sword. Second time, shadowbane sword and shield. Third time shadowbane sword, shield, and shadowbane armor. The last time, all of these are used to craft a new item for the final time you face the shadow baron.
