I usually hatch the Ch3 dragon early and it auto completes.
I thought the verbiage was something like finish crafting and hatch Starfire. This time it says Hatch the dragon, making me wonder if I should wait? What do you think Deadpixel?
I managed to breed the Common so I don't want to mess it up.
Thank you for providing the Tales Event information. Super helpful as always!

Thanks Shortdanzr, I hatched & evolved Orion, the common we bred but I'm wondering about our first crafted dragon. I think it's Starfire.
I like to hatch it, send on quests and evolve over night. It's always been fine before but I thought I'd check.
I know they can change it up at any time, so it's a bit of a gamble anyway.

Okay, last Tales read simply "Hatch" and it worked fine.
What got me hesitant was a few Tales back, it read like this:

Finish crafting and Hatch your Snowhound Dragon. (Skip: 21 gold)

    I'm hatching it early.

    That’s right

It’s fine to hatch it early. In fact, you should hatch it early and evolve it to level 4. I would usually have it at level 4 before the first quest, and sneak in one more Evo, to level 7, before sending it out for two more quests, one Starlight, and one Starbright. All these steps done early will help you in Chapter 4 when you have to send the dragon on the Starlight Quest as your first act. The second act will auto-complete and you can start breeding you Mist Dragon with some other, and immediately begin the crafting of a Star Scope for Act 4, thus completing the Chapter quickly

Good to know it can be hatched early. I'll do that next time.

Thank you Deadpixel, I ran myself in circles on that one - lol!
Then I blew it by falling asleep before moving my dragon from quest to 8 hour evolve, which was the whole point! So I'm playing catch up.

Not able to get the super rare common again and again and again is a royal pain. Tales not worth the stress for me anymore. I will not buy it. No room left anyhow.

I bred my Orion with plain ole Cosmic and Magic after deadpixel's suggestion. I eliminated yellow out of the equation and got it on the first try using that combo. I'll also add that breeding a diamond/infinity with Universe (a dragon from last year) may work better as well.
