Same here. I need that broom too (maybe a metallic one?).
My garden has been on lvl 9 for 2days now. I have all the requirements for the last step except 2 nuggets for the flower.
But my 2 adult Pilus drop only silver and jewels which I?m maxed out on.

I chopped 3 rock outcroppings and got one nugget from that. I also used a boost from the apothecary for the mines and got one from that as well.

It's the haunted broom from an event. Last year maybe? I figured I would give it a try. Lol

I seriously cannot believe the drops from Pilu. My suspicions are that there is an allotted amount of gold and those who finished really early and got gold drops got the entire quota! I keep getting petals and silver. The garden, though, with no gold but 2 trade tickets in one drop, has been pretty impressive.

I put Pilu in storage as directed to feed him...and now I can?t find him...HELP!

Never mind...he just came back. Phew!

I put Pilu in Storage, took him out and do have the feed. It does not show that I fed him. Do I need to wait for the timer?

Put Pilu in Storage and the Feed/Craft option should be in your Magic Forge.
I'm assuming you are on Goal 9.
And I'm also assuming you have fed him to teenager.
Check page one.

Thank you! I just came to post that I figured it out. Dealing with pain today and even though I had clicked and it took me to the Forge, it was showing Pilu (0/1) and said in Storage but my Brain did not compute even though other previous quests had shown that.

I have Pilu in the Magic Forge now.

A big thanks to those who encouraged me to try for the garden even starting a few days late. I upgraded my garden to level 10 a few hours ago and am now eagerly awaiting the first drop of trade tickets. 😊

As a point of reference, I did not have any energy stockpiled, I own five daily energy droppers and one weekly one, and it took me exactly one week to finish the event. I didn't have to chop any extra trees or rocks for wood, living wood or stones, I was fine with just collecting from sawmills and mines regularly.
