Keep on fighting. They don't drop goodies all the time but drop rates aren't bad.

On 3 of them I only got 1 lightning bug

GREAT! I'm getting punished for leveling up buildings. I would've built more jewelers but at this point I'd probably have to sell 10 buildings to get below the limit so now I'm stuck and have to wait till who knows when they will fix this bug.

I'll be stuck too since I only have one level 1 jeweler.

Do you have to clear a dead tree for each venomous mantifort? Or just the first one? I thought I read somewhere in this post where they spawn from. Just cleared one and got nothing ��

Did you make sure you don't have a monster parked somewhere?

Did you get to the part where they tell you to go fight mantiworts yet?
If yes, then yes sometimes it takes 6-7 hits before I could spawn one.

Generally in this game, you should follow the goals and only do things when you're told. Don't upgrade buildings before you're told, don't buy things from market, don't look for monsters until you get there, etc. Unless you read this forum and are sure you can pre-do certain steps.

I feel like going on a strike and quit the event altogether. Been waiting for this fix since yesterday.

I just spent 200 energy chopping dead trees.
I got through 18 trees, got 12 lightening bugs, and 7 tokens.
I got a bunch of mushrooms and glimmerdust, which was handy, but 16-17 energy per lightening bug is pretty steep.

Is it me or has living wood gone extinct? The drop rate during this event is extremely low. Not getting any from trees or saw mills .

I agree, it seems anything we need in an event, the drop rate for that item goes waaaay down

The venomous manticore will also spawn from an old log. Not the best choice to buy but if you’ve got some lying around from expansions it a good way to clear them. Since it’s also featured in the market, I assume the old tree log will work as well.

I’m not liking the “quiet” resets. No galloping horse, just something I did some 5 minutes before is now undone. Arrrrrrgggggghhh!

Is it just me or is anyone else watering the potted plant and getting ZERO ladybugs. I?ve literally watered five times and only gotten coins 🤷🏼*♀️
