I find I have more luck breeding the common dragon if I try before the Tales start. I head straight to this forum and find out what the dragon is and then breed the required dragon before Tales autostarts.

You know, it’s funny you said that because this is exactly what I do all the time. I start trying to breed the required, ultra-rare-common dragons the moment I find the combination and always before I start the Dragon Tales events, and almost always get it either on the first try or a couple of tries later.

Grrr I do that too! I ALWAYS let the event auto start, which happens the next day. Meanwhile I come here first thing to get the combo and start breeding right away. 6-7 days straight of nonstop breeding Then a miracle happened and it popped out almost at the end of the chapter 6th day.

So no there’s nothing I’m doing different to you. I’m doing exactly the same as you and the other player. But mine refused to come out and all I got for 6-7 days of breeding nonstop was fail after fail after fail

Sorry to hear that, but I guess we can at least scratch that theory off our list of “to explores”.

On the bright side, you should now have quite a few dragons to disenchant for essences.
