    Tipping star rating

It feels like the tipping star rating system is buggy. I have neighbors that I always tip, but I never see them leaving me a tip via commenting on my wall or via my news feed. How can someone constantly sit at fir example, a 3 star rating when I see no activity from them. Especially when I see everyone comment full on their wall for days or when I see people constantly asking if they?re still playing?
Add me if you're a frequent tipper. I return tips. ID is Swansoda

The Star Rating only goes down when a player opens the game on their end. So, if I quit playing today then my star rating will remain exactly where it's at until the next time I open my game regardless of how many years pass. That's why Star Ratings is not a recommended way to decide which players are active or inactive.

Ok but my star rating goes down to zero across multiple games, when it?s at like a two but I haven?t logged in for a month or so. Hmm. But I guess for the most part it seems to work that way with my neighbors.

The star rating doesn't drop if someone leaves and doesn't come back. I could be 2 stars forever if I left and never opened the game again.

It's possible to keep a 3-star rating by tipping some neighbors and not others.

I don't normally tip. Once in a while, I do, but not very often. I am frequently maintaining a 0-star rating, but I play every day and I accept all requests. Some of my best neighbors never, ever tip anyone.

The stars really don't mean a whole lot.
