No one on my board went overboard this time. But I'm sure a few boosts were purchased, because people at the bottom suddenly ended up at the top. Last time I checked, the leader had just a bit over 5000. I ended up 9th with just regular play, not one gem or dime was spent! This whole monster hunt was very dull for me. The leaderboard ruins it IMO, but there wasn't even anything new or interesting in the MRC or the trade wagon. I personally would have loved to get the venomous kitsunecorn, that was the only thing I'd have tried for. Lol

I agree. I would have been interested in the venomous kitsunecorn. As a whole, I was disappointed with this hunt.

I won the royal dark unicorn monster hunt and I have to say, that was the only hunt with a LB that’s had a decent 1st place prize since I started playing again and I didn’t buy anything or spend gems to win that one - it was obviously an absolute fluke that I was in such a relaxed group.

Admittedly, I’ve Purchased some packs in the past but only when I’ve had to travel for work or something meaning I don’t get in my regular playing time and that’s for any event - not just LB monster hunts. It also has to be something that I really want or will be useful to my overall gameplay.

Next time instead of logging in right on the dot I will be late to the party and maybe I'd end up with an easy going group.

I stopped competing on the LB on the second day when the player in first place shot past 7K and just concentrated on collecting Troll Tokens. Then I stupidly wasted them on crafting an Armored Kitsunecorn

I was just about to post the leader numbers for this very group. That was my group too. Lol

Craziness. I vote no more LBs but I think they’re here for the long term.

It’s a shame they insist on LBs given the unfair advantage for people that can craft their own alicorns and those that obviously have little concern for the general cost of daily living etc/can afford to buy these packs on the regular. Sometimes I with that love shack would reappear as a one time only purchase or door buster sale just so some of us more frugal players could actually get a leg in on some of these exclusive pets etc.

Winning that royal dark unicorn one kind of lulled me into a false sense of security after having taken a lengthy break from gameplay. I forgot how ruthless the LBs get. It feels like condoned *****ing when you see people suddenly shoot up the LB when there doesn’t seem to be any indication that they’ve been playing seriously from looking at their board.

Oh well - rant over.

I had 4690 points and ended in 3rd in the last 30 mins.
Two people in my board shot up i think over 2-3k ... Because about 8 hours before, I was at first place. I wanted to end as 2nd and this player shot up in the last 30mins.
