I had spent gems to buy supplies for gold pots. Began crafting them prior to the end of the event. When I went to collect them they were gone. Is there anything that can be done?

I'm sorry you missed out on your pots. Events are coded that everything must be crafted and collected before the event concludes. When there is an exeption to this, it will be on the crafting screen. If the pots you crafted didn't take you over the max of 8, you could lodge a ticket and see what Support says. I can't say one way or the other what would happen...
