8am: Returned and only the (3) gold and bomb producing dragons rolled back.

OMG .... I'M DONE! Only 14 losses! I'm in shock. I had the worst 3 games (~50 losses) followed by the best 2 games (<20 losses).

That rollover I did beat Spirit Warrior on both accounts but, one account I beated Goodluck, and Lighhouse. When back to battle again i was back to Spirit Warrior. I lost both times. Next time I battle I better win its hard enough winning with Champions then have to rebattle. Very annoying

Yes I was the one who said pink types are good in the arena. I'm glad they're working for you.
Hopeless and Defender are great dragons and, if you know me, I almost never give up a chance to acquire black, pink and champ types - they are good for me in battle. I think I'll raise both of them to 15 eventually.

What would you suggest to go against Black Knight 8 in the current lineup? I?m stuck on this one. I know I?m a new player and don?t have a hope of winning this fighting tournament thing. I?m just trying to get points on my bingo card

As a new player with none of the dragons that you guys posted in the above comments, is there really no way for me to get past this dragon? My dragons are mostly level 4-7. Except the event dragons which are level 10. This is my third event. So I only have Hopeless 13, Mingle 11, Honeymoon 10, Gentleman 10. That?s it. Those are my highest level dragons. Everything else is 4-7

In general, what would be a good dragon to have for fighting? I know you?ve mentioned pink types. I will try to breed pink hybrids. But is there a specific dragon that beginners like me should aim for? Tia

Since you're a beginner I would actually say try for these specific dragons: Landworm (red/green), Electric/Midnight (black/blue), Origami (pink/purple), Metal (by breeding white and blue), Rainbow (by breeding blue and yellow), and Mythic (by breeding red and yellow). All of those I mentioned were very useful to me when I was still green. Those dragons you have higher than level 10, I'd say get Hopeless to level 15 ASAP. Hopeless seems to be a great fighter and will be an asset. Also, for right now, I would raise my single element common dragons to high levels (Forest, Fire, Water and Air). They turn into unbelievable warriors after getting them to level 12 and beyond.

Is anyone else battling the same rounds more than once? I feel like I've had to battle dragons that I've already beaten more than once during this tournament. It's very frustrating to feel like I'm going backwards instead of forwards and I should be several rounds further along. I do get rollbacks occasionally in D S but I don't think I've ever had it affect my battles before.

I used my metal dragon after it kept beating my diamond and infinity over and over again

I used my level 9 Guardian Angel against itself and I beat it with one bash. Sometimes if you have the exact same champion it can beat itself. I've done it many times in tournaments past.

Is there a difference between bash and magic? I used magic and it only made a tiny dent in the enemy’s health bar. Then I used bash and it took a HUGE chunk, almost depleted the health bar, just a tiny sliver of health left. So is bash better than magic?

Bash works better for me than magic but it's really no difference at all.
