I think I may do a theme with this tournament. It might be all Fairytale or a great mix of Fairtyale, Dark/Spooky and Heart type dragons. We'll see where the battles take me.

I'm working on growing up my little Defender dragon, too! But I never get any of my champs to level 15. I just never have the food. But if I can get them to 11 or 12, I'm satisfied.
Are you the one who told me pink is good? And I replied that I don't have luck with my pink dragons? Well that's because I was literally using pink dragons, but not necessarily ones that had pink *magic.* Now that I've started using pink magic, I'm getting much further in the tournaments. Thank you for the help! I'm finding that my little Hopeless dragon isn't that hopeless (or helpless, either) in the arena.

Yes I was the one who said pink types are good in the arena. I'm glad they're working for you.
Hopeless and Defender are great dragons and, if you know me, I almost never give up a chance to acquire black, pink and champ types - they are good for me in battle. I think I'll raise both of them to 15 eventually.

yeah, it gets really frustrating. When I get into that scenario I start trying "different" dragons ... level 15 commons, level 1 commons, high level dragons from recent events, etc.

I've also had my level 10 Landworm beat level 20 pure champions a few times. Landworm was my go-to battle dragon before I had diamonds or champions.
