GROWING THE LOLLIPOP SAPLING in Chapter 5 requires UPGRADING rather than just collecting/watering ,I just discovered by accident.
Upgrade with 5 sugar.

Chapter 5 upgrade requirements:

30 chocolate ore (from rocks)
30 vials of chocolate (from rustic wells)
7 crystal candy (adventures and, possibly, levelled up lollipop trees as rare drop??)
15 sugar puffs (from cotton candy shrubs)

Edit: Crystal candy drop from levelled up lollipop trees confirmed. : )

Yes but they spawn rarely - I think I'm going to be stuck at level 5 unless the people running the game decide to make them spawn more frequently. From what I've read it's not worth going on any more adventures and wasting precious pink sugar- you don't get much from those either. I'd rather craft a second ram - they're cute!

I spawned a candy ram and for the time being am leaving him on my board so I don't keep spawning dire bores everytime I go to the well.

I'm totally disappointed in that thing! I can't tell you how many times I've tapped it & each time I've gotten nothing but 1 experience...no black flag, not even a few coins .... nothing, nada, zilch. What the hay, S8! Where are the drops?
