I LOVE BREAD. Everything about it, every step of making it. Ripping open that lovely King Arthur bag, dumping the flour into its container, the smell of flour, the promise of good things to come. Mixing, kneading (have mixer, but use hands), punching down, shaping, transferring to pans. The smell, filling the kitchen as it bakes, examining it, thumping it, picking off a well-done piece to see how it tastes, waiting expectantly for it to be ready, cutting into it, removing that first, fresh, soft, warm bit. Eating it (yum!) - there is nothing better than bread.

I've made I-do-not-even-know-how-many thousands of loaves, but each one is a small happiness that has no equal. Of all the things I've made (and make), bread is the most lovely.

Yay to this goal. It is EXCELLENT for a bakery (and a baker!!)

The side goal Prize (which I have enough of) is themed to the goal, so well done there.

Though I really do wish Storm8 would stop with all the duplicate names We already have Focaccia and Soda Bread recipes, and a Bread Counter. Surely, these could've been looked up before the goal was released? It just adds unnecessary confusion. Where is the quality control??

That's my question as well! I also have an issue with the wall decos as of late. In both RS and BS all the new goal items haven't been centered properly once placed and it drives me a bit mad to see them on my walls. You can't tell if you've got all solid wallpaper but if there's a design on your walls, the off centered items stand out like a sore thumb.

As for the goal itself, I think it's the best we've seen in a while and I'm actually going to look forward to completing the goals this time. I hope this is a sign that we've turned a corner and are in for more goals like this.

Seeing people for the most part excited about a goal is refreshing in and of itself. It makes me excited to start the goal. Currently at work so I have to wait *ugh*
