Update: ARRGHH! It was a stinking Werewolf. Didn't recognize the egg and assumed it was Darkstone. That's what I get for assuming.

Got it on 3rd try a Night and Peacock after Neo Bubble and Coral. Almost ready to craft too.
I hear ya. No luck for me on either account yet, but of course got some "Super Rares" instead. *eye roll* I also had the false hope of having it but it turning out to be a Werewolf instead. I like Werewolf, and I'm going to keep an extra one so I can have a baby and an adult, but shouldn't it have expired after Halloween? I got this on my third attempt. First two attempts were Magic and Neo Black. Then I had a Bingo square to breed to a Genie, so I bred Genie to Lotus and got it! I'm crafting a second one so I'm going to evolve and quest at the same time. I should have my second one by tomorrow afternoon.
Along with other long fails I keep getting Werewolf. I get excited to finally get 4 hours then really disappointed. It really doesn't make sense for Werewolf to still be available. After the Peppermint Mocha disaster this is getting boring!
Congrats for the ones who've at least been able to get it so far! I durped hard and was breeding Black + Green for some reason which has netted me 15hrs and 21hrs -__-
Yay, a sorry Penumbra to clog my den and nest using Night and Magic.
