I have yet to collect from it. The timer seems to be working, but it produces zero musical notes after the four hours, and then the timer starts again.

The Forest Parties always seem kind of slow and laid back to me. It feels like it takes forever to get anywhere. To be honest, though, there really isn't a lot of "trying" unless you want the final animal. You can mostly just play normally, except for breedint the special bird. If you can get him, then you are pretty much a shoo-in to get the community prizes and possibly the horse/unicorn thingy.

I *finally* unlocked community prizes, and if anyone is wondering, we have unlocked the snowy aspen (a decoration from last year), the food (can anyone tell me how much we got? I didn't notice for sure. It seems like maybe 15,000?) and are barely starting on the realm runes. We have 2 days to get about 76000 points for the runes.
