Not going to spend a single gem cause the prize-creatures are only going to end up in storage - really stupid thing to do IMHO. If they would at least allow us to have a storage/stable/hostel for our creatures so we might swap out existing ones in the habitats, I would still gladly use some gems to compete in the LB events.

And, just like that, the Neighbell slipped through my fingers. I was comfortably in second place for all this time until the double boosts were reduced in price - now I am sitting around 5th. I would have to spend about a 1000 gems to do some speed breeding and such to catch up to second place. Or maybe only 333 if we are getting 3x bonus --- I'm not sure. Anyway, I guess I'll have to hope she comes out in a value pack someday.

Gosh..same here.it seriously stinks.. although I'm not too far off from 2nd again I feel it just would totally run my well dry and end up being a waste. Maybe next time neighbell.

The leaders on the board I'm on are really taking it easy with this event. The highest is only at 5,900. With 500K of food and a few Crystal hybrid creatures to evolve from level 10, buying a 15 gem boost and feeding those creatures would easily take me past the leaders and give me a good lead to boot. BUT, there is no motivation to do so because it feels so stupid, no, idiotic, no, make it moronic to spend gems (money) to win just to have to put the prize creatures in storage.
