.... It is SO tiresome when a guy has his dating profile as a hot, rich nice guy in touch w his feelings but that was only a lure for you to spend energy on the effort to get there and meet him, and he is actually an overweight online gamer addict in a stained jumper. Happened to a friend of mine last year. : )

OMG ... that is SO funny, it's almost worth the pain of reading every page and realizing that I will be greatly disappointed by finishing this event.

Off topic: I'm actually a female gamer so I always get a lot of creepy online solicitations. I ended up creating a Facebook account with the first name "John". Stopped the creepy guys but I sometimes forget why people think I'm a dude.

I've collected umpteen times & constantly get a black flag for wisps. S8 surely pulled a bait & switch since wisps weren't even listed in the popup! That birthday goat has dropped maybe 3 tickets since I got it & that was how long ago now?

Alrighty! I just looked it up. Birthday event was Sept 6 so once a month for that goat! Really, really sad for sure.

Need to add my disappointment too (to put it mildly). Both kingdoms I'm hardly getting any tickets or permits from the supposed droppers. I hav'nt had any from the old goat. We work too hard to have the bait & switch.
Glitches that occur with events become obvious and people report it here. Sometimes it happens to some kingdoms and not all, but how would we know if it happens with droppers. Maybe 6 months without a particular drop would be a clue lol.

I am not really sure why everyone is complaining bout the drops of the Gingerbread Stack?!?
It drops ALL expansion materials! This is great!

Everything that drops Expansion permits does so on a rare basis.
It would mess up the game economy if it was any different.
(Except maybe a guaranteed EP drop with a weekly timer.)
The fact that we have even a chance at a full Expansion Permit is amazing imo.

I currently have:
2 White Flygers
1 Armoured Flyger
2 Direwolves
The Fire Fly Cove
1 Dark Unicorn
1 Shadow Kitsunecorn
1 Ornary Goat
1 Birthday Goat
3 Vampire Bats
and now, 1 Gingerbread Stack
With regular collections from all of these I get a couple permits per week.

On another note I personally hate the design of the Gingerbread Stack.
(I usually love the character/pet design)
I hate that I have to have it on display because of the great drops.

I believe we are disappointed as they made it out to be different from the other items you listed. If it had shown wisps we would have known what we were getting. It would have been more honest

The only ones with a hard time are the low level 50 (just hit the mark), as they will have the hardest time. For advanced economies (XP > 1 million) the dent is not too harsh.

Oh my goodness, right? I'm level 47 but have hit the upper level requirements and it's so much harder to get stuff done. Even with a few accumulated alicorns (I missed a few crafts because I didn't realize I needed to pick it up before the deadline ended), it's an insane difficulty jump. I'm pretty certain the only reason why I can even hope to finish this event is because I had extra days off than normal. I forsee not finishing events for quite some time since I can't play at work (except on lunch) and on Android, I have NEVER SEEN a daily video option pop up for my game. When someone mentioned getting out their 10 glimmerdust troves, I was so jealous. I have 2, lol.

My dark unicorn drops a trade ticket on EVERY collection, I've even gotten 1 expansion permit. Perhaps you are mistaken or your dark unicorn is broken.


I've gotten 1 expansion permit from a flyger and also 1 from the birthday goat. Other than that it is always earth wisps and once in awhile a lantern as well as the other stuff that we have more than enough of.

The only mis happening was the Gingerman Stack's drops was advertised/and illustrated.. as someing else. I find him cute anyway.. and think of it/them like 2 cookies that were placed too close on the baking sheet. On baking.. with the raising effect.. they got stuck together. Certainly would have been the first cookie kids would grab.. as a double portion!

I’ve had 10-12 collections from the gingerman stack and I’ve had 1 trade ticket. All the rest were 1 or 2 earth wisps. I feel totally conned. I expected it to be like the dark unicorn. I wish I could get all the energy I’ve wasted getting it.

Any thoughts on building more watchtowers and spires? Currently I have 2 spires and 1 watchtower.
