Hi there, I need a little help.
I?m on the 400 essense scale and I want to get Champions Dragon I already have Angelfire which is my best battler. Which of this Champion Dragon do you guys recommend ? (I want two more)
-Gilded Knight
-Spirit Warrior
-Sentinel
-Ninja
-Warden
-Guardian
-Avenging
-Bladewing
-Templar
-Paladin

Or is better if I save 800 essense (which I have never done) and get some of the strong Champions Dragon I see you guys using ?

From your list I only have Gilded Knight and Spirit Warrior (if I recall he was my very first Champion type dragon). Howevever, consider the huge difference in food requirements for the various champion dragons if you are wanting to level them up. For example:
Gilded Knight - 352,575 to feed to level 15
Spirit Warrior - 712,000 to feed to level 15

For hybrid champs, I find Glasswing, Mithril, Valiant, Amazon to be very useful. I'd be interested to hear some other opinions on best champions.

The only pure champs I have are Warrior King-15 and Black Knight-12. Sipland's advice about feeding cannot be understated and my Black Knight may never see level 15.

I like the variety of hybrid champs and my go-to's are (in no particular order): Mithril, Valiant, Unruly, Gentle Knight, Neo Glasswing/Glasswing and Light Mother.

Since you are already halfway there, I'd keep saving and get a super rare pure Champ for 800 Essence. My level 13 Shaman (a super rare) is such a badass, I rarely use any of my rare pure Champs. He and Glasswing are, hands down, my two best all-around fighters. Glasswing is awesome, but 1600 Essence is a lot to collect (but he'd totally be worth spending it on).

Rose Quartz is a good one. If you did the Tales he was in, yours should already be a pretty high level.
Also good: Birthstone, Amethyst, Chakra, Emerald, Gemstone, Quartz, Ruby, Sapphire, Topaz.
Champs and certain gemstone hybrids are some of the ones who rank highest against Serpent.
Also: King, Crownprice, Lollipop and Gadget.
Trying to give a wide variety, including commonly owned dragons, since we don't know what all you have.

My most useful Champion types are Warrior Princess (level 13), Glasswing and Mithril (both10). I also have Battlesteed (10) that I use. I don't have Sentinel, but I think it is a good one.
Feeding Champs up to level 12 or 13 is a lot of food ....
