Wizards Portal in Trade Wagon.....what is it?

i just noticed wizards portal in trade wagon last monster hunt...what is it and what does it do and is it worth it? i only need cooking camp or that wizard portal and dont want to try for something i dont know what it does....thanks for any info.

I have one wizards portal, (we can craft 2). It is like having a daily Ali that drops several times per day. I do recommend getting it eventually, but I’d get all the unicorns and armored alicorns from the MRC first, as they drop energy plus other useful items.

It's an energy building similar to the wizard schools.... starts out at 4 energy and you can upgrade to get as many as 8, but it is resource intensive including lots of gold tokens! If you're like me though and have experienced devaluation of tokens because you've crafted everything worthwhile in the MRC, it is a good deal. The timer is about 5 hours, and you can get up to two of them.
