Is anyone else having trouble getting parchment from dead trees? I?m getting one per tree-sometimes. Often I get nothing.

Yes. Often nothing. Very frustrating. Watchtowers seem to drop less frequently too.

I bought FiFi at the start of the event to help boost drops, but I shudder to think of how drops are without her! Out of four watchtowers I at best collect two love notes. And as for dead trees, usually just one parchment per tree, but even have whole trees chopped with none! And she cost 150 gems!!

Hmmm what you are reporting were exactly my drop rates (before I abandoned the quest earlier this week) without any boost. Your FIFI is scamming you.

At start event I remember I posted Dead Trees dropped 1-4.. with Fifi booster.. rare 1s and more multi-drops. As the event moved on and goals proceeded.. the trees dropped much less, even though rare 0, just more 1s and rare multis.
Drops without Fifi were bad in the beginning and the main cause of the abandons, judging from forum complaints.
What we should do in events is during the first goals when drops are more abundant is to collect the most we can.. of course energy depending.. as in all events drops are always less toward the end.

Finished the Family Affair goal, got Maeve and some other goodies. It also launched several goals that are mystifying.

1) Need something called Love Shack. It's not in the Market or my inventory.
2) Need something called Glimmer Bat house. Not in Market or inventory.
3) Gemma wants a horse that costs 500 gems. So not happening. She's walking. Forever.
4) Install Home Design game for gems. I'm already playing Home Design, level 378

None of these new Goals has a time limit. Does anyone know what's going on with these?
