So last event people got to keep the candy trees bought because of a game glitch. But now the gnomes got taken away from us... I see -_-

Just so you know players did not get to keep their Candy Trees. This gnome glitch was corrected to be fair to players. Like someone said, it's completely unfair that some got the witch gnome early, while others still have to work for it and possibly won't even get it.

I see those trees on the other farms are now called purple trees.
I wasn't lucky enough to get any but I did hear this tree is going to drop items now that is exciting.
