I don't have an option to upgrade haunted house either. I've force closed several times and even shut down my iPad completely. Checked if there was an upgrade (there wasn't). I've made my witches costumes & troll costumes (2 of each) but what do I do with them?

I don?t know if it?s been mentioned but I got a Boar Mask from a Haunted Stable.
Only play Castle Story daily, accepting new neighbours but do regularly check for obvious regular activity and delete non active neighbours. Will answer requests but don't visit all neighbours daily.
Want a confirmation button.

Check all items are checked off as complete in your goal book. You only can upgrade when the goal asks. Post in bugs forum if you're still having issues.
And you've triggered the goal to go on the adventure??
