Trouble loading

Anyone else having trouble loading game after event started? Already reinstalled, force closed app... I'm out of ideas, game was running ok until event started then it would load sometimes and other times just keeps loading forever, sometimes it says there is no connection but everything else online works properly.... Pixel 2 android phone all up to date.
