I am having trouble with my sawmills too. Nothing, nada since my first time.

My troll camp is producing nothing. It only dropped one so far since this quest began.

Is the quest a requirement? I don’t want to use any gold.

Is it possible to work ahead? Goals in part 6 says 'Make' or 'cook' and not 'have'......

Goal 6:
* Cook roasted kabobs 0/3 GO (skip 240 gems)
* Make nesting materials 0/3 GO (skip 300 gems)
* Make nesting buddies 0/3 GO (skip 160 gems)

I worked ahead on some items for level three before I leveled to level two. All was fine when I got to the 0/3 goals in my goal book, some totally checked off and some partially checked off. Thursday is my big energy day so I wanted to get as far as I could.

you dont have to do the quest but it might be the only way you get some of the materials you need since the drops are so dismal!

I'm on the level 4 upgrade and 4 of each needed. So levels 5, 6, & 7 also require 4 each? That's good.

plus it makes no sense. Why did we agree to a huge building to provide kindling when i have 48 elm trees, 5 yellow acer, many sap trees etc that i can't store. Can't all my trees from expanding, or dead logs get me the kindling for a fire? And with all these trees and dead logs, stoking a fire really does seem to be an out of control forest fire waiting to happen.

Just did the Dragon's Lair Adventure and got Poultry, Firey Mushrooms, Cloth, and Branches. I did NOT get a Dried Brush (or 'Bursh,' as S8 calls it) which is the one thing I really need. I'm not sure if it was worth spending gold nuggets on.

I mostly agreed to it because the back of the card said ?chance to drop troll tokens.? But yes, nothing S8 does eventwise makes sense in real life. Only after a meal of those glimmershrooms... While I am not bored I am getting ?boared? by this event. So. Many. Boars.
