I got bored after cancelling 10 dishes
I haven't canceled any dishes (though they've gone bad a couple times) and should end up with about 50 parts from collectibles for the 2nd oven, since I didn't use any on the 1st oven. With the parts my neighbors have already given me, I can build 2 ovens right away and then I'll be able to request too. It's not a lot, but there's still 10 days left. So I ended up being okay with the new requirements (although the decor we win is still only okay). And I really liked not having to wait for the side goal!
If you don't like the goal, don't do it!
I like the change in steps and different ways to earn parts. Yes, the amount of parts needed for one oven is a bit shocking, but it is easy to earn them with collectibles. I think the hard work in the goal is worth it to get the prizes. I like them.
You need to work hard in life to get what you want, as my dear grandfather always said. I know this is just a game, but I do like a challenge occasionally! Keeps me motivated which is currently what I need to help myself.
MissTwilight99. Only adding serious players on RS only who do goals, are active and respond to requests quickly. Tipping not as important. I tip most days and gift and accept requests often. Bakery & Restaurant, occasionally Fashion & Pet Shop too.

There are two upsides. I don't care if the food spoils. I start it with full knowledge that it may spoil before my return. I don't care, I wanted the mugs. I've noticed more spoiled goal food in my neighbors' restaurants, as well.
So maybe we will all care a little less about spoiled food. I guess that's a bonus.
Also, it makes it way easier to skip goals. I think we will have lots of people in Goalers Anonymous. I'm going to build coins and master old recipes, especially next year...assuming I play next year. If we get another lutefisk and communist Santa Christmas, I'm done.

What parts are needed to construct the next appliance for this challenge?
The second appliance needs 40 Root beer fuses and 32 Root beer tokens. Pictures of this are included in post #187

Is anyone else having problems with it saying you don't have enough? It still shows I do have them in the Collectibles.
I'm also still not done building the 3rd Barrel. I'm almost done with the drinks part. Seems like some of my neighbors have stopped playing over time.
