Dear Storm8, why do you keep on insisting on luck being the deciding factor in event prizes?! Who would ever choose to be unlucky, no one! This goat is going to be like the crab walker, all over again. You make your consumers sad, when they apply the same effort for varied results.

On another note, my chickens have become lazy and hesitant to drop wand polish. Come by my kingdom later, having fried chicken for dinner, there will be plenty. It?s B.Y.O.R.B

I am at the point where I only need to gather materials (besides rings) for the final 8. I'm about to park a goat when clearing galaxy trees because so far skunks have been plentiful when chopping the trees, I only need 6 more ribbons.

I upgraded to level 4 about 3 hours ago and have 1 ring toward the 5 needed for the next level. I have done 2 gift adventures and received a ring each time. My plan is to not gather everything for level 6 and do the adventures when I have enough gift #2s.

I'm glad I can pace the event to continue with my story lines but soooooo bored with the same formula. I'd love to be making cakes, tablecloths, centerpieces, table settings etc.

Agnes is supposed to be in my inventory now...i checked inventory, town square ( just in case) and searched kingdom...no Agnes....any suggestions please?
On another note, i used enough gems to buy an ali , on buying chests for the chance on a goat...shame on me...no goat...( will note, i was lucky enough to get the crab, who entrances me, watching him wander kingdom! ) ...sigh....giving up on the goat....
I could keep sending invites, to gain a chest or two each day..but i find that even more tedious than i did on the last event using same idea...repetition ...tsk tsk tsk...good luck to everyone still working hard on event!

i've a lot of active neighbors, added some I think 3 events ago

and yet for past 2 days, I've only managed 14, 16 invites, meaning I can't hit the 20 a day.

not a big deal but makes me wonder just how are people receiving requests... I did lucked out and received a goat from the box... it hasn't given my anything at all, except 2 wisp lanterns and a few coins

I remember there was an event long ago, we were going on adventures for random drops, and I never got the good gifts.. haha

I know that there are a couple of posts concerning the trade of gift boxes, but can't find the posts. Any updates on what kind of drops are from that trade? Thanks.

Ok now I see. Various crafting supplies. Rare ring drop. No bouquets or deco.

I have done four adventures, and no rings. I'm holding off collecting all the other supplies until I see what I get from these, so I'm focusing on the galaxy trees for now.

I totally agree. I really like the looks of the goat but dislike depending on the luck of the draw to obtain it. It could at least have been a community prize.

You receive Agnes as a walker, you don't unlock other items with the walker when it's a reward from a community event like this. When you obtain a walker through Goals then you might unlock other items with it.

I just received the goat but also dislike that he is not available to everyone. I was not lucky enough to obtain the crab citizen and am sadly reminded of that fact whenever I visit the majority of my neighbor’s kingdoms. I think that “luck of the draw” items should only be items that you can otherwise work to obtain, even if you were not lucky enough to receive them as a bonus. That’s not the case with the goat or the crab—they can never be obtained if you were not lucky enough to receive them from a chest—cannot purchase them with coins, gems, crowns, tokens, etc. I think offering items like these as a community prize (in the future) is a great idea that would be fair to all, but I also hope that S8 will provide us with another opportunity to obtain the crab and/or goat if we were not lucky enough to receive them as a bonus.

Yeah. I wish the goat had been the end community prize and the recycled decor could have been in the chests.
