Florr06 you can craft Platinum coins in the Spell Shop, look under Material. You should be receiving plenty of gold and silver coins to craft Platinum ones. It takes 2 hours for each one..... Yes,it's slow.... But do-able. If your not getting enough gold and silver coins to craft platinum coins, try Scaley Pears

I've got plenty of the coppers and silvers but not nearly enough time to craft the platinums. 1 per 2 hours is ridiculous. I can't play every single hour of the day.
But thanks for your kind help anyway. It looks like I will get the Gold Pheasant dragon with only a couple of hours to spare, so no time to send it on quests. At least I'll get the extra 750 parts.

Does anyone know if trading a second Gold Pheasant still gives extra essence?

I was curious about this myself so I made it a point to check and found that it's back to giving the normal 2 Essence if traded.
