You can breed/craft more Golden Pheasants if you want so you can raise one for the goal while the other one is on adventures. Any additional ones can be Disenchanted for double Essence.

Crafting is to give players other options than breeding.

First fail was with Neo Air and Neo Fire, but manage to get one with my second try using Neo Yellow and Neo Red...

As a note, you can also craft gold pheasant in the craft shop using silvers and gold that you get from breeding, farming, and evolving. I'm not sure the difficulty level and I just started crafting a marble key so maybe someone else can do some assessing.
