That is disappointing. For 30 gold nuggets and a 22 hour timer, trade tickets should be a guaranteed drop and they should add the possibility of energy and/or golden items too.

We need to be careful what we wish for. I think now that S8 is providing new ways to get trade tickets and expansion tickets that's why the number of expansions required to expand are increasing so much. It used to be 3 or 4 expansion tickets were a pretty large request, but now they want 8 or 10 or more.

Just to let everyone know, Princess Lorelei's fountain has given me a gold troll token Every Time I've hit it since the MH began. It's usually possible but doesn't happen every time .. so don't forget to collect from the fountain!

You are very fortunate. I have never received a gold coin in all the monster hunts. I think I've only received 1-2 gold coins from mermaid ponds, too. No alicorns of expansion tickets from watching videos, but I keep trying.

I agree. At this rate it'll take a month to complete just one expansion. And what has been most disappointing is that a drop from the direwolf or white flyer is very, very rare for me. I can't recall the last time one of those dropped a permit but they are good for the lanterns so it's not all bad.

Im sorry to hear that. I was hoping that was something new that was happening for everyone. Like a reward for all the confusion from last week but I guess not.
I'm an android player so I don't get the videos but they sound like another source of frustration so maybe that's a good thing huh? Lol

I'm glad that people are getting the gold coins/tokens. I hope it continues. Like you said, it would be nice if this was something new that S8 was trying to make up for last week.

I was wondering if it was better to get the Wizard’s Portal and spend the next two years upgrading it or to get an Armored Direwolf. The first would give four energy points every four hours (eight when fully upgraded in two years) and the latter 20 to 60 every five days (mostly 20).

Also, is the Armored Lion worth its weight in Troll Tokens? It has a chance to drop Expansion Permits but are its chances any higher than the Armored Flyger or the regular Direwolf?

Armored Flyger max them out. Then work on lion. Thet have the same drop rate.. why would S8 change the formula for max 4 Mystic Researh items.. unless S8 is really mad at us for not giving them more money
