I just realized that I don't have the Islander dragon yet! Lol. I think this was the major prize in one of the previous leaderboards.

Any idea with the tasks needed before I can craft this dragon? Thanks!

You need to complete the whole dragon tales 10chapters. Then you will get a gem/token. With that you can craft the islander. This is the only dragon for which I want to complete the tales.

OK, confession time - I did a stupid thing.

I got the Mantaray Dragon first time and put in on the nest to keep. Then 12 hours later I forgot and hatched it. AND fed it.

Will that still count later or am I doomed to try get another one?

You're good - that is one of the few tasks that you can do ahead of time Congrats

You also have to hatch the final Dragon Tales prize dragon (Seacrypt in this case) to get the token, having it in storage isn't enough to get the Water Coin.

@Glenngenius, there should be a goal in your goal book titled "Secret Bottle" that shows you the requirements for the Water Coin.

Can you move your seafish Dragon from the spell shop to the nest and hatch it on chapter 2 or do you have to wait for chapter 3

You can hatch it and raise it to level 14 before chapter 3 even starts.

Thinking outside the box finally got me Mantaray. Placing Brightsteel and Bronze Age (not Bronze which is metal/red) got the 2:59:59 I needed.

Oh thank God. I did the same thing, hatched my Mantaray accidentally. I was so worried I wouldn?t be able to breed another because I activated the Diamond temple.

You can hatch Mantaray early and it will count towards later chapters. You can even raise it to level 6 and it'll still count later on. I always hatch and feed early in Tales and never had a problem.
Here's another tip fellow Caretakers: Get Mantaray and Seafish raised to level 6 and 14 as soon as you get the dragons, same with raising Adrift Princess to 12. Believe me, it cuts out frustrations later and doing those things early will count in later acts.
