Think I am at #6 or more of winter dragon plus an assortment of others. Keep changing breeding dragons and still no luck. Guess I will not be getting any bonus shards.

Just to make sure, you can’t breed this once the timer is up?
Also, will that turn this into a “non-breedable” and affect their place in the tournaments?

Wow, historically I have had a hell of a time getting the special dragons so I pretty much stopped trying. Need to breed something so I thought I would give this a go; low and behold Light and Hammerhead gave me 15 hours on first try!

The dragons are categorized according to how they were released so unless s8 changes something about a dragon (like adding yellow to Pyramid) then a dragon will keep it's classifications. Ivory Pearl will always be considered breedable, it's just a limited time breedable which I don't think is any different than the always breedables in tourney performances.
