I wish they would go ahead and unlock it so we can start on it early. Sassafrasparilla is still locked. I'm almost done with step 2.

They do that intentionally; since Storm8 "took over", EVERYthing about these games are geared toward getting (forcing/tricking) the players to use Gems (which they expect us to pay real-world money for). It's understandable, since they need to pay their employees and stay in business, but it's just become so blatant. Costs of Recipes has gone way up, cutting deeply into the serving profit; costs of Goal Appliances has risen while the number of Parts required for each has doubled.

So, so, SO true! I’ve been playing since 2012, have been level 99 for ages and I’ve never had to struggle or keep such a close eye on my coins as I do now. Over the last year or so, I started to notice my coins dropping at a much faster rate than usual but couldn't figure out what I was king differently. I’m relieved to see it’s not just me.

I get that they’re a business and have no issues spending my money in game (which I do) to support them but I do have an issue when I feel like I’m being forced to spend my money. I do still enjoy the game, but nowhere near as much as I used to which means I spend less overall than before. Hopefully S8 will get the point that happy players spend more than players who feel cornered and get things back on track.

As for the current goals, I am happy to see new recipes so I’ll play to unlock them. I’m still very much a fan of them reusing older ovens! But I doubt I’ll go for the prize as I have it already though have yet to display it so a second seems unnecessary.

this is a 5 day goal because these ovens are re released from a previous goal so many people already have them

Even so, it's nearly impossible to do in 5 days even with already built appliances when the hours are long.

Yes, I've been playing 6 years or so now. Expansion is my biggest pain when I'm trying to save between goals.

I've been pretty content with the recycled side goals they've been posting lately, but this one just isn't up to par. It's riddled with spelling errors, sarcasm, and half-hearted "jokes" that aren't actually funny. And the recycled recipes aren't up to standard either. I wonder if someone very young and inexperienced led this goal and nobody proofed it?
