I know i said earlier; I think i need to skip this SB. The first days I couldn't play a chapter, but I made a really nice catch-up race, and just finished chapter 9. Just found a few spots for the creatures. And ready for chapter 10 tomorrow. I really wanted to complete this SB, even I'm not a big fan of all the creatures, but I personally thought it would be a waste if I can't get the monthly animals, just because I didn't do my best to get it. Now if I can't get it too, I can say I did everything I could.

After all my trouble to breed Bamboon for Chapter 9 Act 2, I got a different set of instructions: Breed Seagull with AQUATTER!!
Of COURSE -- my misfortune that I DON'T have Aquatter, so Coastal Kirin will likely escape my reach. This is what I was afraid of; that lower-level players would encounter DIFFERENT versions of the later chapters, and see our preparations go up in smoke.
So sad right now.

Well ironically enough, I had no luck with my Earth-Nature combos; but when Chapter 8 made me deviate from that to "breed Seagull with Plantlers," THAT got the Bamboon! LOL Maybe I should put Seagull with my Water-Nature hybrid for the Aquatter. If only I had time to fool around with that.
Seagull with Plantlers also got me a second Amakihi, by the way. Hmmm...

Okay, just now -- Frostfang & Ocean Ape: 8 hours. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh! It has to be Aquatter, yes? It can't be anything else, right? I can maybe, maybe still do this. I've got nearly 30 hours.
Please, Storm8 no more nasty surprises; I'm flying blind here. Cross your fingers, toes, tails and talons for me, forest folks!

Not the best time to breed one but will take it. And will finish breeding tomorrow morning just in time to finish off the Storybook before it ends.

Wow! Condolences (on the delay) and congratulations! Sea element contributed Earth to my breedings, but it must have thrown in Fire for you since Planters was supplying Earth. (See, I'm learning this thing with the special types and their curious breeding habits. LOL)
That's amazing though. Just when you least expect it. Glad you can still make it to Kirin.
