Despite many many failed attempts, I haven’t been lucky enough to breed the required dragon at all in the last 3 or 4 Tale Events so haven’t been able to finish them.
I’m sure others are in rhe same boat.
It would be good if we could start trying for it now.

I'm assuming it's the new common in the market, Buttercup - breed yellow and green with only 3 hours breeding time. Was really lucky this time and got it with my very first try - breeding Air with Forest. Hope you get it just as quickly - Ellerslie

I’ve taken your advice
First try Air/Forest - 6 hours - either Druid or Leaf.
I seem to recall that Leaf was a Tales Event Dragon that I failed to breed. Of course I’ve had many many since!
At least I didn’t get the 18 hour nymph
If I do happen to get lucky can I hatch Buttercup or do I have to leave egg on the nest?

Wish I could get this Rare/Common ratio more often. Oddly enough it only happens when I’m trying to breed a common dragon.

As wiith the last 4 events I refuse to spend gold to breed a common dragon - matter of principle. S8 misses out because we are far more likely to invest gold when we get to the last 2 chapters - begs the question Why make it a matter of luck to get past ch 6.

Time to give up LOL
