AM I THE ONLY ONE HAVING TROUBLE BREEDING THIS COMMONDRAGON

BUTTERCUP

FIRST TRY - Air/Forest - 6 hrs = Druid - RARE
SECOND TRY - Air/Forest - 6 hrs = Druid - RARE
THIRD TRY - Air/Neo Forest - 10 hrs = Fruitful - COMMON
FOURTH TRY - Sunblaze/Fruitful - 10 hrs = Fruitful - COMMON
FIFTH TRY - Air/Forest - 8 hrs = Fairy - RARE
SIXTH TRY - Air/Forest - 8 hrs = Fairy - RARE
SEVENTH TRY - Air/Forest - 6 hrs = CACTUS - RARE
EIGHTH TRY - Air/Forest - 18 hrs = Nymph -SUPER RARE
NINTH TRY - Air/Forest - 10 hrs = Fruitful - COMMON
TENTH TRY - Air/Neo Forest - 10 hrs = Fruitful - COMMON
ELEVENTH TRY - Air/Forest - 18 hrs = Nymph - SUPER RARE
TWELFTH TRY - Fairy/Fruitful - 18 hrs - = Nymph - SUPER RARE



Wish I could get this Rare/Common ratio more often. Oddly enough it only happens when I’m trying to breed a common dragon.

As wiith the last 4 events I refuse to spend gold to breed a common dragon - matter of principle. S8 misses out because we are far more likely to invest gold when we get to the last 2 chapters - begs the question Why make it a matter of luck to get past ch 6.

Time to give up LOL

Same shoe with you, but, I'm only at chp 4, so still have 2 days to try. Last event also gave up, stuck at chp 6 for 2 days, but accidentally got the common dragon(red, yellow) from a Mythic (breeding Mythic, green, purple). Luckily caught up and finished the event on time

That's pretty much my results too. Tried other peoples combos as well to no avail. Looks like I will be able to save food if I can't breed this common dragon before the required chapter. I don't understand their thinking in making a roadblock, it doesn't encourage me to spend gold either.

Finally the S8's Gods shone down on me and bred the elusive buttercup so now can move along with the tales.

Nope. 3rd Tales in a row I can't breed a common. Such shameful business practices. It's like Publishers Clearing House, seems so easy and fun, but no one ever wins...

I never got the common dragon last time either. I am only on 5th breeding but not hopeful as now I am 2 days behind. I'll try till its obvious that I could never catch up and finish.

I am so incredibly stupid - this morning I bred Foxglove with Anubis (Chapter 7, step 4) and got a 44 hour result While it's nice to get a Diamond fail so I can trade it for essence, the timing absolutely stinks since I need Foxglove to breed with Buttercup tomorrow

First, HUGE THANKS for posting chapter requirements!! Second, in Chapter 7, if I pay 150 Gold, to Skip level up Foxglove to 13, do I still get the Hyacinth part????. No time to make the food and would cost more than that to buy the food. Then I would get the Super Rare Hyacinth and 12 Island parts for 150 gold and not go further in this Tales Challenge.

After many, many fails, I just got Buttercup with Athena & Scylia. Only tried, bcuz I needed to breed Olympus type for bingo.
